Nailsea Tithe
Barn Trust are launching on oral history project
to capture, in both audio and visual formats,
the memories of the many local people who
attended the Tithe Barn during its history as a
school. To this end they have organised a free,
introductory course to oral history for people
who would be interested in being a part of this
exciting new venture.
The self-contained day course aims to be an
informal and practical introduction to oral
history interviewing with an opportunity to
handle recording equipment and discuss some of
the issues around oral history, life stories and
memory. No previous experience of oral history
is required. This course will be led by Craig
Fees, an Oral History Society-accredited
trainer.
