Description:

A photograph from Nailsea Parochial School, Grove c. 1910. The picture is taken outside the tithe barn.

The little girl in the centre of the photo is Irene Brake, born 13th July 2003. She was Great Aunt to Steve Lyon who donated the image. Throughout her life Irene was very involved in the local community, including a period as a governor of Hannah More School. Her married name was Pinnegar. The boys at the front are holding a sign which says Nailsea Parochial School Grove.
