Tithe Barn Jazz
Youthful and zippy jazz quartet Emily Wright and the Royals on Saturday 8th June at 8pm
Nailsea Tithe Barn dates from 1480 and with Holy Trinity Church is part of Nailsea’s historic heart. A school for over 200 years, it is now fully restored to its medieval origins. The vaulted ceiling, stonework and owl & putlog holes are beautiful features along with the modern facilities you need.
The Tithe Barn is the perfect place for community events, private or corporate functions, music, dances, celebrations and weddings. Regular hire or one off functions, the Barn caters for groups from 5 to 120.
The Tithe Barn was used to collect tithes or taxes. It became a school in 1789 when Hannah More persuaded the Church to build a school for the poor.
Ideal for local area studies, Medieval or Victorian history.
