One of Nailsea’s oldest buildings, dating from about 1480, has been completely restored.
It officially opened on Saturday 18th June with an open day for the general public from 12pm.

Everyone had the opportunity to get in to the historical mood with guided tours, historical characters, music, dancing and memorabilia of days gone by.
People came dressed in period costume – Medieval, Victorian, or Wartime. On the day they met Medieval Lords and Ladies, peasants, and stern Victorian school masters and mistresses!

There was a vibrant programme of activities with maypole dancing at 1pm, the Acorns Folk group at 2pm and the Twice Dailies Adge Cutler Tribute band celebrating songs from old Somerset at 3pm.
A Tae Kwan Do demonstration left us gasping as wood and tiles shattered before our eyes!
