Nailsea Tithe Barn is delighted to be participating again in North Somerset Arts Week.  On Saturday 29th April the Tithe Barn will be hosting an event for children and adults who are young at heart.

With a handful of beans and a heart full of courage, Jack sets off on a tall tale of high adventure.  This new production by award winning StoryBox Theatre remains faithful to the spirit of the original ancient tale: a story of enchantment and magic, of cruelty and humour, of courage and ingenuity, and triumph over gigantic adversity.  JACK will surprise and delight children and adults alike.

If you've not seen StoryBox Theatre before, you will not be disappointed.  Their amazing puppetry enchants and delights audiences throughout the UK and Europe.  You really shouldn't miss this one - and if you don't have a child to accompany you, have no fear, you will be so glad you came and you'll be warmly welcomed.

History of the barn

Nailsea Tithe Barn dates from around 1480. It was a basic agricultural barn for storing crops taken as taxes by the Church. The Barn has since been significantly modified over 500 years, especially when it was converted to use as a school in 1789.
